On May 1, 2025, Real Women Have Curves: The Musical received two Tony Award nominations—Best Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) and Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role (Justina Machado) . Although it didn’t take home a Tony on June 8, the dual nods are a huge affirmation of the show’s emotional resonance and musical excellence.
